VIDEO: Ardsley’s dream run continues into Class A state championship game

Ardsley pulled off another unlikely playoff win on Saturday, knocking off Section 2 champion Mohonasen 61-56 in a NYSPHSAA Class A semifinal at Floyd Maines Arena in Binghamton.

Sean Casey scored 13 of his 20 points in the first half and then Zeke Blauner shouldered the load in the second. The junior scored 26 points as Ardsley turned a three-point lead entering the fourth quarter into a double-digit advantage.

Blauner shot 10 of 17 from the field and added four steals. Casey was 5 of 9 from 3-point range and contributed three assists.

Ardsley will take on Long Island champion Amityville in search of its first state boys basketball title on Sunday in Binghamton at noon.
