Irvington girls secured a second straight trip to the Class B state final four with a dominant 60-37 win over Carle Place in the NYSPHSAA Regional Championship at Pace University on Saturday.

The Bulldogs raced to a 19-2 lead to open the game and never looked back as they moved on e step closer to a return trip to the Class B state title game.

Kelly Degnan, the MVP of the Section 1 tournament, had 21 points and seven rebounds for Irvington (24-1). Olivia Valdes added 14 points adn four assists and Heather Hall scored 10 with eight assists.
