Hamilton’s run in the state tournament ended on Saturday as Long Island powerhouse Greenport early and late in the NYSPHSAA Class C Regional Championship.

The Porters came away with a 78-63 victory at Pace University in a game they led by 17 in the first half before Hamilton rallied to within two early in the third quarter. The tandem of Ahkee Anderson and Joshua Santacroce was too much for the Red Raiders to handle. Anderson scored 28 points and Santacroce added 22 in the win.

Chris Green and Kemron Frederick each scored 17 for Hamilton. Green added eight rebounds.
